VISIONRGBE2S

VisionRGB-E2S is a standalone PCI Express x4 plug-in capture card, offering extreme performance with 650MB / s transfer bus bandwidth providing a further enhancement to the previous VisionRGB-E2's 480MB / s. This video capture has two full capture channels that support resolution up to 1920x1200 DVI or 2048x1536 analog.

VisionRGB-E2S captures analog / DVI data and triples it in the buffer in onboard memory. This data is then copied using DMA to the host system for viewing, archiving or streaming.

When a Datapath graphics card (Image4K, Image2K, ImageDP4 +) is used, the VisionRGB-E2S capture card transfers data directly to the graphics card thus increasing performance. The VisionRGB-E2S capture card sends the relevant parts of each channel to use its graphics engine for data rendering. This takes full advantage of the hardware for processing and greatly increases performance.

When RGB / DVI data is displayed on a non- Datapath graphics card, the VisionRGB-E2S sends the data to the system memory or directly to the graphics card, depending on the software used for the display.

The VisionRGB-E2S capture card is the ideal solution for applications that require real-time acquisition of analog or DVI sources. Typical applications include:
- Viewing analog or DVI sources from PC, MAC, medical / industrial equipment, cameras and other video equipment
- Streaming of video applications
- Video wall controller

For streaming applications, the VisionRGB-E2S can be used with Windows® Media Encoder to compress and stream video. To play the video, use Windows® Media Player.

Any application compatible with Windows® Direct-Show technology can use the VisionRGB-E2S video capture card thanks to built-in WDM support.
