This warranty document supplements Datapath's terms and conditions of sale. In case of contradiction or inconsistency, the latter will prevail.

What is covered and for how long?

Datapath warrants that its products are free from defects in manufacturing, materials, and workmanship.

The warranty applies only if the products are handled correctly and the mandatory preventive maintenance actions, described in the technical documents, have been followed.

The warranty period starts from the date of shipment and is for a standard period of 36 months. Products with non-standard warranty periods are listed below. Cables and adapters bundled with Products retain the same period of warranty as the main Product.

For software, repairs, and purchased spare parts 6 months warranty apply.

At the time of the original order, certain products listed below, are eligible for an extended warranty of a further 24 months, for an additional charge.

What is not covered?

The warranty does not apply to consumables such as filters, fans, and batteries. Datapath will guarantee the supply of consumables on a chargeable basis for the period of the warranty.

This warranty does not cover defects resulting from improper or unreasonable use or maintenance, or failure to follow operating instructions as mentioned in the technical documentation.

This warranty does not cover defects resulting from accident, unauthorized alteration or modification of the original condition, or product being connected to or used in combination with other equipment, products, or systems (hardware and/or software) not compatible with the product or not respecting the installation requirements as defined in the installation manual (such as high temperatures, humidity, dust, power surges…).

In no event shall Datapath be liable for any defects, failures, loss of, or damage caused by or resulting from wear and tear, any external cause or event out of Datapath’s control, or any act or negligence of the customer or any third party.

The warranty is void if serial numbers or warning labels are removed, changed, or tampered with.

What we will do:

Datapath provides a return to manufacturer warranty and will, at its sole discretion, repair, or replace (using new or refurbished replacement parts) any defect within a reasonable period of time and free of charge. The replaced product, parts, and/or components shall become the property of Datapath.

Datapath also provides technical support throughout the warranty period. The support team has a vast amount of experience and you should feel free to contact them with any problems you may have. Tell them what you are trying to accomplish and they will advise you on the most suitable way to achieve your aims. Before you contact us please read the Support page on our website that provides the information we will require to help you.

What we will not do:

Pay shipping, insurance, or transportation charges from you to us, or pay any import fees, duties, and taxes.
